So I just registered for an eP acct. the other day, went through the registration charge verification n stuff, used a Bank of America Visa credit card to load it ($25 trial deposit in case of a "snafu") put $10 of that onto Stars just to feel out the whole process, it was easy and I thought all was well.

Well, a couple days later I go into my online banking, and there is a fraud alert under my credit card, saying I have to verify some recent transactions, which I know has to be the ePass initial deposit and that I can't access the credit card online until the alert is lifted. Can anybody comment on how big a deal this is going to be to get this bullsht straightened out? What about if I just use it directly from my checking account, anybody had any problems with that? Can I still do that at all once I have made a deposit using credit card? Anybody?

Just call the credit card company and tell them you bought something online - don't mention gambling. If they press you tell them it is porn or some dvds or whatever (it is none of their business and they most likely won't press the issue). They will then clear the payment. They are trying to sniff out gambling transactions so again, don't mention gambling

I appreciate the comeback Ktulu. I just called the number today and verified the transaction and they released the hold no questions asked. Checked my ePass acct. and no problems there either, so all looks well.

Can anybody comment on deposits and, particularly, withdrawals from ePass directly into bank account? Is that also likely to be flagged as suspicious, or what? Unreal people aren't just able to do as they please with their own mf'ing money... Thx again

Some banks have been blocking epass act withdrawals straight to checking accounts but the vast majority have had no trouble. If you do have problems you can get the epass debit card and go the ATM route

I just tried a withdrawl to checking and it said there was an error communicating with bank, could not be processed at this time, blah blah, standard error message, usually just try again in 3-4 minutes and it'll go through.

However in a new twist, the money actually left the account. Question to anyone, what's my next move?

When you process a withdraw and it doesn't go through, the money is still being taken from your account. Epassporte said it would be back in my account in 2 days tops, but it has been forever and still nada.

Has anyone here use commerce to fund their epass account, and been able to receive withdrawals back to their commerce account as well? I would rather not have to spend $35 yearly for some ****ing card, when i can simply transfer it and a few days later...presto.

Ok so heres my latest scenario after speaking to an Epassporte representative. I had 100.00 dollars in my account on Sept 7th. On September 8th I withdrew according to my statement 300.00, thus showing a -200.00 balance. Personally I do not remember if I withdrew 300 or 100 and assumed I could not withdraw 300 since my account only had 100.00 in it. The Epassporte rep told me that some accounts that have good relations with the company are able to "sometimes" withdraw more than whats available in their account. This obviously made no sense to me, and I really think that -200.00 was their [censored].

Anyone experience this/agree with me? Sounds extremely fishy how "randomly" certain accounts could withdraw over their balance without getting an insufficient funds message.
