I'd lead and push if he raises you.

What does a good UTG+1 raise here, that you beat?
I am not to excited with my hand here.

Ok, you seem to be readless, but this hand can really be nasty. I check/call and reevaluate on the turn.

Actually Bet-fold sounds good, but you could do that with any two, because you wont like your hand, if he calls and can hope for a split at best. So betting turns your hand basically into a bluff.

That beeing said, i prolly call the flop and fold unimproved on the turn. If he fires again, well, he earned my chips.

this is the worst advice i've ever seen, no way we are bet folding this hand in a 1 table tourney, i like betting out in case he checked behind you so he doesnt get to the turn for cheap with the intention of reraising if he raises your bet.

So, an unknown is only calling with AA/KK/QQ or JT? Not AQ, Ax, KQ, Kx, QJ, two spades or an assortment of other random junk?

Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets t90</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to t300</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises all-in t1410</font>

I'm definitley checking my monster hand and raising if he bets. Why are we so afraid here, why such a rediculous range for an unknown villain?

If this was a 25+2 I would call instantly...
Against a tight range of maybe AA, KK, QQ, AK, KQs, AJs, J10s you are about even money and given the pot odds you gotta call. If you include the possibility of the vilian beiing a donkey or bluffing you have to call even more.

This might not be right for the 100s of course...

Hero calls all-in t1065</font>.
Uncalled bets: t45 returned to UTG+1.

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (t2970, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: t2970)

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (t2970, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: t2970)

Results:
Final pot: t2970
<font color="#ffffff">Hero showed Ks Ac</font>
<font color="#ffffff">UTG+1 showed Qd Qh</font>

Overall I think leading out on the flop may have been marginally better, but do you guys have any suggestions? Is this standard or avoidable?
