AKs early in FTOPS #7

Still fairly early in FTOPS #7, so no definitive reads. However the villain has seemed to play TAG/TP, according to PAHUD (don't recall his VPIP, etc.) and from my own observations. I did pokerdb him and he had played 64 tournaments, w/ an average buyin of $90, and ROI of 25% so not a complete donkey by any means. I would say that my image at the time was probably along the same lines as his, but probably more so TAG than TP.

Full Tilt Poker, NL Hold'em Tournament, 30/60 Blinds, 8 Players

SB: 4,595
BB: 3,835
UTG: 3,055
UTG+1: 3,770
Hero (MP1): 3,000
MP2: 2,275
CO: 7,550
BTN: 1,920

Pre-Flop: (90) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP1)
UTG calls 60, UTG+1 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to 240</font>, 5 folds, UTG calls 180

Flop: (570) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets 400</font>, UTG calls 400

Turn: (1,370) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

River: (1,370) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">UTG bets 720</font>, Hero ???

My primary question is obviously whether to call or fold on the river, as I feel as though I played pretty optimally against this type of player's range. However, any suggestions, whether it be actions or bet sizes, on previous streets are appreciated as well. Thanks.

Well you only need to be good 25% of the time, what is this "type of player's range"?

easy call. If you are checking the turn its with the intention of calling the river.

As I mentioned villain is a tight, winning player. So, I think his range is decently tight and reasonably assignable range after he calls my post flop cbet. I don't think he'd be floating or even calling w/ some medium strength hand like 99 or 77 imo. The range I assigned him was as follows: Ahxh, KQs(not necessarily hearts), KJs(not necessarily hearts), 88, 55, 67s (not necessarily hearts), and maybe some other suited connected hands with hearts. So the hands I can beat include KQ and 67.

A good player is not limping KT/K9 under the gun but 64 tournaments with a ROI of 25% is not sufficient evodence for me to say that this is a good player.

You are definitely losing this hand more often that you are winning it but AK/KQ/KT/K9/99/TT are all decent possibilities. Call.

Call, you are good enough, but I think you lose close to 65% of the time.
