[50NL] AT, combo draw on turn vs LAG

Better to smooth call bet on turn or raise it as played?

I would just call the turn versus a LAG, hoping to make Villain pay on the river if I hit.

I realize your best draw is super-obvious, but you are getting a good price, and I would settle for that instead of going for folding equity. What I'm worried about is what actually happened (getting 3-bet on the turn).

If Villain bet $2 again on the river on a blank, I would seriously consider calling, despite not really caring for this board in a raised pot.

I think most lagtards here are rarely folding, I smooth call turn.

Why aren't u c-betting the flop? Where u planning to raise a weak lead no matter what fell on the turn? Don't know what ur trying to represent on the turn, tp would never take this line, neither top set on a flop like this, and wud u check nut flush draw on the flop? I think it's a very fishy line and think ur FE is small when raising the turn..

Yeah. I wouldn't really expect to win or anything, but you'd be getting about 5:1, and Villain has been super-aggressive postflop at the table so far in his short stay. In response to your flop check, he's probably betting the turn with any naked spade, any straight draw, any Ax, and possibly simply any two cards.

I didn't want to cbet many wet flops vs this player. However, I probably should have bet this flop since I have the gutshot and a spade turn isn't that scary for me.

I prefer a cbet here, unless you 2 have some serious c/r history. Just try to take the pot on the flop. The chance that you will improve to a made hand are just quite small (3 clean outs on the turn), so IMO you want to take the pot without a showdown. In order to do that you have to bet.
