10NL Set on scary board

MP1 ($5) is a pretty bad calling station running 32/1/0.5 over 100 hands. MP2 ($60) is running at 55/20/0.7 over 75 hands. Hero ($13) is at 18/10/1.8 in the SB. 9 handed.

Dealt to Hero T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

2 folds, MP1 calls 0.10, MP2 raises to 0.40, folds to Hero who calls 0.40, BB folds

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [1.30]

Hero bets 1.10, MP1 calls, MP2 calls

Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [4.60]

Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets 2.25, Hero calls, MP1 calls

My plan here is to call the 1/2 PSB on the turn and bet out if the river pairs the board, c/f everything else. Not sure if this is a good idea or not.

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [11.35]

Hero bets 9.25 and is all in, MP1 calls 1.25 and is all in, MP2 calls 9.25

Comments on all streets welcome.

My first thought was shut it down after the turn w/ 4 to a straight + FD on board. But the more I think about it, the more I like your call because you will get implied odds if you hit your hand on 5th. And you've got 11 outs to make a FH or quads on 5th.

2 callers on flop either have: (1) made straight on flop; (2) pair + OESD on flop; (3) pr 9 + FD; (4) 2 pr on flop; (5) overpair to board (esp QQ). A 55/20 calls a lot of raises w/ junk so you only need to worry abt a badly played J8 or J9 or a very lucky JJ.

You were most likely WB on the flop & turn. But you have a good chance of stacking both if you hit your hand.

Thanks guys.

I pretty much considered MP1 to be dead money because he was c/c with any top or second pair on any textured board. So against MP2 I think I was pretty much way ahead of his range on the river. Does this look reasonable (could probably add a couple Queens in there too which would put me farther ahead on the river)?

Hand 1: 72.055% 70.56% 01.49% 60079 1269.00 { ThTs }

I actually lost this hand, MP1 had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and I'm not sure why he stayed in the hand, but of course he's a calling station.

MP2 had J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and I think he played the flop and turn pretty bad, probably should have reraised with the flopped OESFD and checked behind on the turn to hit his flush/fullhouse draw. That 1/2 PSB just threw me off a bit but it gave me good implied odds so I'm not sure about his play, it was weird.

Regardless, I am happy with getting it all in on the river against his range if that is accurate for a 55/20 in MP. He was actually playing 60% of hands in EP and 40% in LP.

One more question, does anyone bet out again on the turn and try to rep the Q and for how much? I don't know if that would make sense after betting out on the flop because the only thing I'd do that with would be A/K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] but it's just a thought. I assume I would have to fold if I got raised on the turn then.

I'm a bigger fish than I thought! I don't see how trip Jacks with an Ace kicker beat a full house

Other than that I think calling the turn was good against MP2. He has you covered and will probably stack off if you hit.

He lost to the dude with J9. I think your turn call was mandatory, and on the river you have the winner most of the time.

Yeah sorry, I lost to MP2 with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I see how that's confusing when I put it in 2 paragraphs. Just mentioned MP1's hand because I thought I had a good read on him, I was actually thinking he had an 8,9 or T with an overcard during the flop and turn.
