Figure out my combination
 

I was going to post this in BBV4Life but since it is basically a guessing game/riddle, I thought I'd try it here.

is the lock on my mailbox. To open it you turn the left knob to the left, and the right knob to the right. You have to turn it to a certain notch (one of the lines, long or short) on each knob to open it. You just turn it to match once on each at the same time, there isn't a series such as on a regular combination lock. The first one has 12 letters, between which there are three markers. The second has 12 more, although different letters.

When I got it I created a little device for remembering it. I was wondering if anyone else could guess it from the device. I can give hints if needed.

The hint is: my combination contains a subtle message against racism.

What is it?

BP

The B is halfway between B and C (possibly 1/4ths) and
The P is exactly at the long P line

BP symbolizes "Black Power" and the difference in line length symbolizes the growing strength of the blacks

Well, I imagine the device is to assign A, B, C to the three lines (in order) between the letters, which would give you a four-letter word. I don't really feel like figuring out what a "subtle message against racism" would be, though.

LuckayLuck is on the right track, except it's anti-racism, not pro-minority.

Hint: the second one is two letters forming a word, the first is a letter and number.

Ok, no one is going to get it. So here's the answer.
