Deep Stacks + 3-bet pot/ turn play= ???

Villain is a 9 tabler, might even be one of you.

I have him at 27/24. He probably views me as being pretty aggro.

Notes: Check/shoved with a flopped 2pr as the pfr

Only interesting hand we played together before this is was:

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $200.50
SB: $213
BB: $100
UTG: $86.80
Hero (CO): $243.10

Pre-Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3</font>, BTN folds, SB calls $2

Flop: ($6) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $3</font>, SB calls $3

Turn: ($12) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($12) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Results: $12 Pot ($0.60 Rake)
SB showed 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a full house, Twos full of Sevens) and WON $11.40 (+$5.40 NET)
Hero showed 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Sevens) and LOST (-$6 NET)

On to the the hand:

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $202
SB: $100.50
BB: $227.25
UTG: $101.50
Hero (CO): $237.10

Pre-Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">BB raises to $13</font>, Hero calls $9.50

Flop: ($26.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $20</font>, Hero calls $20

Turn: ($66.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="green"> Hero ponders the merits of each possible action (Effective stack is $194)</font>

Folding the flop felt kind of weak, but could be ok against some villains.

Is the turn a standard bet/fold? Anyone like checking behind and calling a river bet if it bricks?

Comments on all streets appreciated.

lol at hand 1! I just check behind here. Nothing you beat calls and you could get c/r. If he has AK/AQ you only have to dodge 6 outs and that's not bad since you don't know where you're at.

If I am calling a blank river, isn't there some merrit to set the price my self with a turn bet?

Villain would have to be somewhat maniacal to c/r the turn with air after I called pre and called the flop.
