Official Nick Rainey thread

A lot of people have complained about having to keep track of a ton of threads to know what poker players Nick Rainey has hung out with lately or played tennis with or has sweet insider info about.

Hopefully Nick will post updates to this thread so everyone can stay up to date on who Nick has been hanging with.

Thanks Nick!

A tennis pro. He told me you suck at tennis and that he could beat you with you using a racquet and him using his bare hands. If I were you, I'd wager him that you could kick his ass ... he's dumb enough to take such a bet. Good luck and take Nick's money!

I have a disturbing feeling that your intentions with this thread are not completely goodhearted.

Impossible odds... Chuck Norris would roundhouse kick Segal's knife out of his hands and into his neck keeping only Segals prints on them.

I have a serious question for Nick.

Who is fatter David Nalbandian or Benyamine?

And how can Nalbandian reach 4th round in French open when he is fat?

I heard Nick Rainy had a major gambling problem at a specific southern california school. Rumors of large amounts of credit card dedt etc.

Please tell us how you have overcome these challenges to become the poker player you are today.

LOL I heard about this thread while I was playing todays WSOP event. Just busted with KK vs AA. I layed a sick beat on David Plastik during the rebuy period and he was pissed. Telling anyone that would listen about it.

I have never seen Gus play, but I would rank them in this order based on what I have heard. If David gets back into decent shape he is the best.

David B
Patrick
Gus

nadal or federer for the french open?

ok i didnt know you were that good. Are you training david for his bet with antonius and gus?

Nick Rainey 06-05-2007 09:24 PM

Re: Official Nick Rainey thread

I am taking Federer for French. Nadal is a beast, but he has to be tired from playing so many matches this clay court season.

I was hitting with David almost everyday until the WSOP started. Talked to him and Erica today at the RIO and we should start hitting soon.

David B is an amazing tennis player, its really weird seeing someone so big hit so well.

Nick,

In a typical 5 setter, how many games would you expect the average 2+2er to be able to take from Roger Federer? Also, how many games do you think you could take from him?

My friend Aleksey Vayner (he posts here occasionally) took a set of Fed in a practice session. I'd imagine that any other 2+2er who can can string together a few 140mph serves down the T wouldn't have much of a problem taking at least a couple sets to tiebreaks.

Nick,
Is PA aware of our unhealthy fascination with him?

If he is, what does he make of it?
