(NL25) Strange spot with KK on Q high board.

Hola! Been a while ..

Villain was kind of tight-passive player. I find his line to be really strong? I mean, my one pair can't be good there, something to do with Baluga's theorem? It's possible that he floated flop with AQ or something, now hit on turn and takes a donkish shot. I have pretty laggish/aggressive image ( 28/26 ) Thank you.

what are you putting him on that you lose to?

I'm thinking he probably caught the queen. Pocket queens is the only thing I'd be worried about against a tight player, and I think you can call this bet/push all-in.

yeah, I mean srsly. I yawn before calling and maybe take a nap during the turn/river/showdown.

I'm not sure to be honest, it's more like a feeling that I am no good there with my pair. Maybe he just made a bad call pf and caught a set there. Thus, queen is very possible - he could just be testing the water with his minraise, hmm.

RR All in. I cant really see folding this here unless villain is super tight/passive. I think villain is raising the flop with QQ-AA pretty much every time here. I would actually be more worried about AA than QQ. I get this all in, but then again I am a station.

I'm still calling that. With catching a set, that is four possible hands that beat your overpair. After your $11 bet, you are POT COMMITTED with this hand!

BTW, if the player has AA, you are going broke a large majority of the time with KK.

Fold. A tight passive isn't coming in with a big minraise on the turn with anything you beat. Maybe AQ but I doubt he calls a pot sized bet with that on the flop.

IDK, sometimes, I will call flop bets with AQ on this board just because of the possibility of C-Bets and the player catching absolutely nothing. There are times that I style in with a tight/passive image, and AQ is definitely within my range of calling on that flop. :-\
