How often do you guys bubble?
 

I've been watching sheets's videos on pxf lately and he talks a lot about being aggressive on the bubble, raising a lot, etc. I know by doing this you are going to get a lot of 4th place finishes but you should get more 1st right? I just played 4 tables and got three 4th's and a 3rd. I don't usually get 4th place this much but its getting more frequent. I get more pissed about getting 4th than anything else.

If ur getting more 4ths than anything else then ur probably being too aggressive on the bubble (or calling too much). You can only be uber-aggro when the other players are gonna fold most of the time. If ur playing low stakes and people are calling loose on the bubble then you can tighten up cos theyr gonna bust each other out anyway.

Apart from that it sounds like you have maybe just been running bad.

yea im not whining, im just trying to figure out if im being over aggressive and need to tighten up or if this is normal. didnt mean to make it sound like "poor me, i keep losing." ive had a pretty good day, just a lot of 4th's. just trying to find out how often other people bubble. thanks.

Sounds to me more like he just has no sample whatsoever. Play a lot more games before you try to judge your results. Hundreds to thousands, not just a couple.

ive played a few hundred, just recently started playing more aggressivley at the bubble. i know i said i played 4 games and bubbled 3 times, but that was just one session in paticular that frustrated me. ill keep it up though and get a bigger sample playing more aggressively and see how it goes.
