10+ million hand databases

My SQL Pokertracker database has hit 10 million hands and the imports seem to be a little slower then what they used to be. Would there be an advantage to creating a new database and link all 3 to pokerace hud instead of keeping this one going til over 20 million hands?

have you compacted the databases lately ... also, once the hands are imported into PT you can delete the moved files to free up space on your Hard Drive

I don't mind the hard drive space, I store all my datamined hands anyway, but in a different folder so they don't slow down import time. I compact/analyse my databases every 2 weeks

can you delete them and still have all the actual hands saved in pt?, or will it just keep your stats, ive never even thought about it, but with like 5mil hands that can add up to a ton of memory in just HHs
