BTW - can anyone tell me why my W$SD is so low - about 44%... I would guess that it means that I am calling down too light, but I really don't call down light... Is there any other possible reason it is so low, could it be that I don't double barrel enough, or I am not aggro enough?...... [/ QUOTE ] its a function of your WSD. If your WSD is 30% or so, its gonna be low 40s. If your WSD is like 20, then it should be >55. Usually takes a decent sample to get these numbers to correlate...id say 25k min. |
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
Pretty standard isn't it? Think of all the limped pots where it has just checked to the river, and no one has bet in the hand. Anywhere from 45% to 55% seems normal at 10nl, although mine recently is exactly 50.00%!
Think a more important number is te won$wsf, mine is 37.9% which i would like to get to 45%+ difficult with so many calling station bluffy donks tho |
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
those numbers are not incredibly important and do not corellate until you have a massive DB. Just ignore them all...they pretty much just indicate how you are running the majority of the time.
about won$wsf, if its low...like under 40 and your AF is <2 over a decent sample, then it is a sign of passiveity and it wouldn't hurt to work on the AGRESSION, or maybe just cbetting more. your positional stats should be where you start looking for leaks. Also, dont forget that everybody plays a different style. You can play like a station and win well at the micros and have bad stats, or you could be a SLAG and win at the same rate. Its all about balance. |

*sigh*
today I have mostly been playing like a HUGE FISH. I know I'll play some donkaments.... I bubble an $11 Sng - get knocked out early in another - get all in on a 3flush xxxJ turn vs AK with my AJ - river K. and then the creme de la piece de resistance - regular $11 donkament. I raise AKo early going with t2.5k called by a 3k stack flop KAK - poooooooooooosh villain snap calls and flips AA. lol donkaments. that'll be 6 buyins down today then. |
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
i know ive asked this like 3 times, but is it worth watching cardrunners vids that are higher limits when we are in the micros?

Hello.
If there's anyone I've missed paying off tonight, I apologise. Come by one of my tables and I'll see that you get your turn. |

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
since i still suck at pokers time to start posting one losing and one winning hand from each session that puzzles me. also time to start really playing around with stove and holdem ranger then just the usual drills you do with those tools.
Also going to find out how the hell these people can all fold when I raise KK or AA PF but threebet me and all call me when I raise AJ from UTG or tilt raise 23o from MP. I have finally hit a significant downswing at NL25. Started with one at NL50 and now its 6.8 at NL25 and counting. I swear that sometimes the hardest players to beat are the 45/5/1.5 folks who call call then might call or fold depending on how interested they are in the pron they are watching. If they call on the flop or turn you never know what it means other then they feel like calling with something whatever it be made or not. Normally I can figure out the TAGs and sLAGs if I really try and think about it and go with my gut but playing a bunch of these guys can never add up to a huge winrate so whats the point. |
