Detroit players...any limit hold em downtown???
 

Haven't been down there in a while. I have some time off from work because of the cold weather (work construction). I'm looking for 5/10 or 10/20 games. Do they even run any limit games or is it all NL and tournaments now.

Thanks for any info. Hopefully I'll see some of you down there.

MCC and GT both run limit tables - I am pretty sure MGM does too, but their room is much smaller. Not certain of the exact games being spread. Give them a call.

MCC 5-10 and also maybe 10-20 Don't know about 3-6 at MCC

Greektown will have 3-6 and 3-6 w/ akill Also maybe 5-10 but maybe not depending on the day.

MGM Only spreads NL at least every time I have been there.

Do they still have the pokerpro electronic tables? Or have they (hopefully) expanded to more of them? Maybe I'm unusual in this but I way prefer that to having actual cards, chips, and a dealer.

MCC usually has 10/20 or 15/30 round by round game going. Greektown had 3/6 and MGM is just NL games.

And there are no more etables anywhere.

Yeah, the Gtown limit scene was dead. 10/20 still exists at MC.

Motor city got rid of them for good and rolled that bad beat jackpot into the regular jackpot about 2 weeks back.

Motor City would be your best bet, but call first. They also spread omaha hi lo and 15-30 round by round, omaha hi and hold 'em. You should find a $5-10 and usually a $10-20 going most days

Limit hold 'em is all but dead in Detroit. If you want to play 3-6, you can find it, and maybe 5-10. 10-20 runs inconsistently at MCC, and breaks up too often in my experience. I haven't been really folowing that closely in the last 3 months though b/c I now consider myself a "former" limit player whos grudgingly made the move to N/L to be with the fishies. its too bad, b/c both Greektown and Motor city used to have pretty juicy 10/20 games.

This is the one thing that really ticks me off.. About 6 months ago most places had 3-6, 5-10 and 10-20 but now it's hard to just find a 3-6. I always call ahead and ask first, but it's pretty much going to be only NL at Windsor, MGM and Motor City.. Greektown might have a 3-6 going but nothing higher.. Motor City has a 15-30 round by round sometimes but take 1000 with you because it gets wicked crazy..
