Re: 30 left in $4 180 sng.....
if im reading this right you flopped middle set on a monochrome board. call the push.
raise less preflop (1100-1200), calling the min-reraise is fine though. |

Re: 30 left in $4 180 sng.....
If I'm raising this PF, I make it closer to 3bb. As played I would call the min re raise and easily fold to the flop shove 3 handed. Any pocket pair higher with a club does this, any set, two overs with a higher FD etc etc. You are dominated and have no odds.

no middle pair w fd [/ QUOTE ] If this is the case super standard call. You're a favorite vs everything except a set. Even if villain has a set you're getting correct odds to call. |

Also I'm assuming the BB folded?

[/ QUOTE ] Uhhhhh, he has middle pair bad kicker on a reraised preflop pot with 3 clubs on the board. He has awful odds and is not in good shape. |

[/ QUOTE ] why give advice if you can't read the hand? while im not gonna say that this is definitely a fold, calling is certainly not "super standard" when your flush draw is the 8 of clubs on a 3 club board, there are plenty of hands in a preflop 3-bettor's range that have both a better pair and a better flush draw than you of course you are getting great pot odds to flip against overs with a lone club, so it's not an easy fold at all, but sets are far from the only hands you aren't a favorite against |
