Pot limit game at the Venetian?

Anyone interested in a 5/5 PL min $200 buy in? (Not that there is one, but seeing if there would be any interest.) What about a max?

If it's not mentioned as hold 'em, then it must be hold 'em. If it's any other game, the game is named.

I thought this was a given.

Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

5/5 went yesterday. The 1/2 NL day games I sat in there yesterday were atrocious. Weak-tight as others had said. Other cardrooms -- esp. the smaller ones -- had great 1/2 games going though.

venetian has 5/5 plo tues and thurs now.

I think the locals tend to move around, which means games are great where there aren't many, and dry up when they show up, maybe? The games at Mandalay Bay that I've played in have been great, even if I'm way down in them due to running bad. The V and CP haven't been so good, for me, anyway.

Don, I'd like to see you and Jay talk about the different chip games here and get others opinions. I'm not a limit player much anymore, but according to Barry T., I will be someday, again.

This is not a concern for non-standard or "other" games. The locals all flock to the tables when they are spread regardless who is sitting in. Historically I have found it very easy to start a mixed or exotic game providing I have two friends who are willing to start the table with me, we usually have a full table within the hour in Vegas.

This is slightly off topic, but I feel like it's worth noting the V will spread pretty much any game you want right now. I was there last week for work, and the room was super slow - we played dealers choice 2-4 handed for a couple hours late night. Everything from badugi to PL08, and the dealers (al/cheryl) were outstanding. Good times had by all.
