I limit this to KT, 33, or TT. Villain is passive, so it probably isn't KQ or a diamond draw. I think he out-flopped you and wanted to wait for the BB streets to put the hammer down. You do have outs to KT though, and since there are more combo's of KT than there are TT/33 I think that's what I would be leaning on here. I just call down hoping it's KT and I spike one of my 8 outs. It's a hard lay-down regardless.

I 3 bet there as well. He could too easily have KQ or AK and put a raise in on the flop. His turn raise on the blank is what tipped you off to a possible TT, KT, 33. Until that point I would have believed I was ahead.

Could also be K3s or something if you think he's loose enough to cold call with that.

based purely on the description, as soon as he raises the flop i'm shutting down. i don't know that i'm really that concerned with showing down, either.

this is all a function of our read. he proved in a prior hand that he can beat top pair and not put in a raise. that means here he's usually got top pair(and most likely aces) beaten. does he play this way with KT or K3? if so we can consider showing down more often. if he's only got a set here, i'm hating our hand.

still, it's really crucial that we have confidence in our read. if we have a smidgen of a doubt, we need to calldown. we think we have a tendency that we can exploit, but it's necessary in these situations that we make sure it isn't OUR assumptions that are being exploited.
