(600nl) Flush when board paired

Villain seems tight/solid/reasonable and we havent tangled much. He seems pretty quiet and has not done anything out of ordinary in the 30 mins or so we have played together.

My image is tight agressive, and I have taken down the last few pots uncontested.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6 handed)

BB ($662.40)
UTG ($84.40)
Hero ($664.45)
CO ($1184.20)
Button ($746)
SB ($594)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $18, 1 fold, Button calls $18, 2 folds.

Flop: ($45) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $30, Button raises to $78, Hero calls $48.

Turn: ($201) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $168, Button takes awhile to call $168.

River: ($537) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Heros plan
(I have like a PSB left)

My Thoughts;
Flop: 3betting seems really bad. Maybe against an agressive opponent who contests c/b a lot but not against the villain described.

Turn: Bingo! I guess you can do a lot of stuff here. I prefer a lead, since it will put him in an awkward position with a set/2pair/etc. and will build the pot. I will be stacking other flushes by betting out here anyway.

River: O [censored]! When it took opponent a long time to call turn I assumed he just boated up a good portion of the time. So now what to do?

el shove and hope he has str8 or lower flush or give u a loose 1 because his 2 pair if he had it just got counterfitted. now if mid pair paired, i might not shove.
dont b scurred

Deeper bet/folding woulda been fine I think but that's not a good idea now because he might shove for value with a worse hand than yours if you bet small and you will get a very good price.

So I think the question is if you should just shove hoping to get called by a worse hand or bet something like 220 (and call a push ) to possibly get value from hands like J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Jx, a straight etc. leaning towards the latter.

If he's got a lower flush he calls a bet for sure, while he could probably check behind if you check, scared by Q as well.
So unless you're willing to check/fold your flush (very tough), you should bet/call a push with these stacks...

he wont chk back with a medium flush he'll def. bet something. but with a small overpair str8 or med flush he might not push for value but he will talk himself into calling a push often.if he has a boat good for him
things get interesting if the 5 pairs or we have a 10 high flush

Shove, although you can probably c/f (gasp!) against some villains.

Push.
Just dont check-call. Just dont check-call. Just dont check-call. You may even check-fold if you wish (its clearly inferior to pushing though). Just dont check-call...

Re: (600nl) Flush when board paired

Well, I think its pretty easy to read u on the flush. And if the villian is good you wont get called my a weaker hand than the flush. So the only way u'll get paid is if he got Kd.Jd or 7d.8d.

Why is check-call so bad punter?
