Do I just cont bet most of my stack here,check fold seems very weak,but I don't like the thought of bluffing off my chips in this situation.

If you're going to re-raise pf, shove it in pre instead of leaving yourself with an awkward spot on the flop. Villain only has 1000 left and wont fold any pairs. The pot is too massive so I would be c/c to induce bluffs to bet too.

Shove or fold preflop. As played check/calling the flop is better than betting because worse hands can bluff. I agree with vers that we fold very few pairs on this flop

Shove preflo if he has been agressive but there is no shame in folding preflop otherwise.

Don't put yourself in this ugly spot by rr half your stack.
