Preflop, what do you think is best between a shove, raise to 400-450ish, check?

As played, should I bet out on the flop, check/float it, or check/fold?

Any other advice on this hand is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm thinking I play this the same way, which may very well be the wrong way. I could also see check/folding the flop as a decent way to go. I am not trying to get tricky preflop with >20BB and a short stack on the bubble.

you're a bit to deep for shoving this pf..
i'd raise it up to 250/300 and cbet the flop

i think in this spot i would raise preflop to 300 or so. I would cont bet for 400 and obv fold to a raise.

You don't wanna get a in a coinflip here with the shorty still there.

Shove preflop.

i don't understand pushing for 20 bbs against another middlestack with a shorty on the bubble. Is it really worth the 250 chips to risk a coinflip/ being dominated by his calling range? Expecially since at a $6.50 his calling range is probably not as tight as it should be.

TT isnt flipping/dominated vs a loose donks range.

The only opponent's hand that i'm happy to risk stacking off against in this spot is a lower pocket pair or two undercards(im not happy coming up against Ax as a 70% favourite). I just don't see even a loose donk calling with unpaired cards both below Ten.

That leaves just 22-99 as a range that i would be happy to come up against, and this isn't likely enough as a proportion of a "loose donk"s calling range for my liking. Just a regular raise for me.

If you are not willing to stack off vs Ax you are throwing away 1.1% of the prize pool (about $.57) You dont want to get in the habbit of doing this real often.

But raising is also +EV so if you are more comfortable and can handle a flop OOP with an overcard I think it is fine as well.
