I’d expect to see 33, missed diamonds or a strangely played 9. Even this donk will fold a jack to your shove here. I just call.

god, I must have the most insane image of any 20/16 borderline nit cause everybody else sees these fishy guys making big folds whereas I get called by 55+ all day here.

you realize he's got 84 left and when it comes back to us the pot is 104?

you guys are silly. this is such a standard blocking bet from villain like 80% of the time.

I guess that's where it really comes down to reads then. If I think he calls w/ a jack here, AND would actually play a jack like this, bombs away.

To me it looks a lot like nuts or air though, and a shove seems thin given the situation. It seems more likely to turn your hand into a bluff than extract value.

what do you mean "this type of player." if you are referring to the af, it is not low considering the vpip.

A player with those stats and that read, as OP stated. What else do you want me to say?

So what are you saying? If it is a blocking bet, raising is pointless, unless you are counting on the parlay that he chased with air or Jx[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], caught a J on the turn, then forget he made a blocking bet and called your raise anyway. Which is not impossible... but neither is him having you beat.

Edit: or a PP as well. I actually think this is close, but I'd need a little more of a read to push this.
