Random Bankroll Question from Micro Stakes Player

Hi, Kinda new to this site. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Anyway, I play dime-quarter, full table cash game, generally 7 to 10 tables per session. Roughly 3500 5500 hands per day. The bankroll is always between $500 and $1000 When reaching $1000, cashing out down to $600 and beginning my quest for $1000 all over. My question is.. in order to play Quarter-Fifty cent.. how big should your bankroll be. Is it relative to # of Buy ins, or number of Big Blinds? I have heard both. Im tired of hearing about Jesus Fergusons rule of thumb and would like to know anyones rules for Bankroll management! All comments greatly appreciated! Thanks.

20 buyin or 2000 big blinds if you prefer is the min recommended but go with whatever you feal confrtable w/. so 1K is good for nl50

I think the 20x buy in rule is perfect. Basically you don't want a bad streak to cripple you.

If it's based off of buy in or big blinds it's the same thing because your buy in is based off of the big blind. 20 buy ins and 2000 big blinds is the same thing.

20 buyins is way too low if hes going to be playing 7-10 tables. id wait till 40-50 and keep a stop loss

yeah i agree with this. I play quoter-fifty cent(most people will call this 50NL because the buy in is 100BB or $50) too and usually play 9 tables at a time and I have pretty big swings in every session. I would have $1500 or even $2000 if you want to make sure you don't have to move down after a nasty steach.

Since you are playing full-ring, I would expect there to be less variance than 6-max.

I just cashed out most of my roll and am playing 50nl on <20 buy-ins.

Think 1k or 1200 is fine if you are willing to move down.

I will second this. I usually am very reluctant to move up without having around 40 buy-ins just because I tend to play more than a standard number of tables.

Didn't even consider the multi tabling since I Don't do it, they are probably right.
