Live 10/20 NL Switching Gears

Live 10/20 NL

7 handed

Game is running a touch loose

HERO in BB

SB 6800 (Deep-stack LAG. Good player)
BB 1200 (unknown)
HERO (CO) 2200 (Have been playing tight. Getting some respect)

HERO 7s9s Open Raises to 80
SB Calls
BB Calls

Flop (3s 8c 5h)
SB Checks
BB Checks
HERO bets 180

SB Folds
BB Calls

Turn (Ts)
BB Leads for 200
HERO REALLLLLY wants to push here. Effective push is 800-ish. I effectively Rep a lot of hands I "could" have here, and have a great draw.

Thoughts?

You're getting a very good price to just call here. You stack him when he has a strong hand or decides to fire a second barrel bluff and you get there on the river. You also probably have a profitable bluff if he checks the river and you've missed. The river should go well for us, no reason to stick it in on the turn.

ike,

Are you folding any non spade T+ on the river if he bets and shoving the opposite?

Also, what if he throws a blocking bet on the river?

ike,

I def. agree with merely calling the turn when villain has me covered with my stack size.

I seem to get fuzzy in spots like this. When do I cash in my FE with cards to come?

Pushing the turn > bluffing the whiffed river?

effective push isn't 800ish if you started the hand with 2200ish... neway it's player dependent normally but vs unknowns I call here and call blank river because I expect him to be betting out a worse pair or some sort of draw/float which often bluffs the riv. Raising is tough vs an unknown because with his stack I'd say you'll often get shoved on and be getting good pot odds, and you wunna draw to ur hand cheap.

sry I'm retarded disregard my last post about questioning effective stacks, anyway, looks like a good time to shove- mite as well probably make him pay for his draws

i'd just call. your hand is very, very disguised if you hit on the river and there's a chance you'll get paid off. plus, i don't think he's folding very often if you push.
