10/25- I pick up a big draw

10/25 NL live. Game is playing 10 handed and tighter than it usually plays. I am probably viewed as one of the tightest players in the game, if not the tightest. I am seeing a bunch of flops but haven't seen a turn yet.

I have 6k to start the hand, both players cover.

Folded to a very solid, tag player in MP, he raises to 250 which can be a wide range of hands. I call with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB calls too. In my opinion, he's the tightest player in the game. I have never seen him make a move and he plays pretty straightforward, but he can overvalue hands.

Flop comes: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I check. Is this a bet here?

Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

EP bets 400. MP folds, I?

I couldn't really figure out what I could represent, but does that matter?

I'm pretty sure he'll call a raise with AQ+, and push KJ and QQ, but I think he'd fold a flush or straight draw or a hand like A10 if I raise.

a flop bet is +ev and when called often leads to a +ev turn bet as well

i would just call the turn

is 10x open standard in this game?

I'd raise and push most rivers if hes tight

I just call turn. I fold if he bets river and I miss. If he checks river after I miss I like to try to either move him off the hand or check behind depending on your read and whether or not you've seen this guy check raise rivers before. I don't like raising the turn here. You open yourself up to get pushed off your hand which could stack your opponent if he's got KJ or a set.

This just doesnt make sense to me. If this is standard raise in game then that is fine, I have been in live games like that, but why are you calling with AJ? This is a big raise for even 25/50 so you are essentially playing with <100 bb. Just fold PF.

18% on turn to hit a flush+6 outs for the straight 30% if he doesnt hold your outs, he might even have KJ..thats if he doesnt have a heart. This is spewy to call here. I think the mistake here is calling preflop with AJ suited.

No way he puts u on KJ, if you want go ahead and call, but folding is a good option.
