Nice/Romantic Restaurants in Seattle?
My 1 year anniversary with the gf is coming up, so its time to take her to a nice restaurant that we haven't been to before (we like trying new places). If it is a romantic place, that would be a big plus, but definitely not a requirement.
Couple that I am thinking about: Cafe Juanita (Did's suggestion) Six Seven (probably saving this for V-day though) Palisade (always wanted to try this place) Any other suggestions? |

El Gaucho
Metropolitan Grill These are fantastic if you don't mind dropping a little dough. |

Rover's
Le Gourmand El Gaucho and Cafe Juanita are also excellent. The Met has good food, but its busy atmosphere wouldn't be quite as conducive to a romantic evening. Fun place to people watch though. |

Canlis is supposed to be nice, but I don't speak from first hand experience.

What kind of food does she like? KJS [/ QUOTE ] all kinds actually ... im more picky than here. We've been to el gauchos, the met, and canlis before (canlist has prime card, which is a freaking awesome deal). I would highly recommend el gauchos, some of the best steaks i've ever had. Canlis was also awesome (great service as well) |
Re: Nice/Romantic Restaurants in Seattle?
Canlis is said to be overrated and overpriced for what you get.

Would you prefer suggestions for Downtown or neighborhood or both?

Melting Pot
Metropolitan Grill (only if you have obtained baller status) Elliots (seafood! and on the water!) and... Red Robin on Pier 55 (just kidding!) |
