weak = week i guess?

Both i guess
I get some beat or dont get action on my hands, then i start to lag it up and start losing
at some point i decide to play good poker, move my way up to break even, that's when i stop playing (see my weekend graph in the BBV thread)

i would just like to randomly insert that my friends are retards. consider the following common situation when we play:

I have JJ
friend has AJ
money goes in preflop
we flip cards over

friend: at least i've got one of your outs.

pushing draws at unl imo is really bad. u usually hae hardly any fe and end up flipping although villains would still get it ai when your draws hits. Many 2p2ers at unl play those draws way to aggro

T and t , I mean I'm british so when the flop is 89t that means I folded and went to get some tea.

Whereas I should have typed T so he knew it was a ten, my bad.

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

My return to NL50 was going stellar till just a minute ago. Variance is fun. Players at NL50 on FTP not much different at all, the fish still suck just as hard but don't call flop and turn as often with crap like NL25 and the regs just three bet a bit more which is good cause they all have postflop edges over me right now and they pissing them away three betting me so much. Of course they could actually have a hand too. Typical sitaution is I open OTB with something marginal like normal and BB threebets me. Of course my something marginal can be dominated adn I cannot call. However I open OTB with AA or AK or 76s or even J2s and they never threebet me lol.

849 hands in I seem to be playing my normal game of 20/18/3.7 just with more river calling. 47.18 W$WSF lol. 11.28 PTBB. I'll take it all day. Roll dropped below 850 so I going to go grind NL25 for awhile longer till I get comfortable at NL50. I'd say about 5 buyins at NL25 will do me fine.

So to those moving up to NL50 on FTP i can see from my last 1200 hands there it is not much different from NL25 other then three betting.

Put in about 500 hands.
-$150.

I induce a river raise with my expert bet...I fist pump because he obv has a set or two pair.

Maybe not.

man while i was playin them i felt so much more knowledgeable about sngs then n e one at ne 4 of my tables. i was seeing TERRIBLE pushing and calling ranges from EVERYONE. i was under the impression that sngs were getting very tough of late but now realize that this fact is completely wrong or i just got 4 awsome sngs loaded. 2 people at each table were basically giving away their 22 bucks and then the other 6 people played either loose passive preflop the whole time, pushed and called FAR TOO WIDE FAR TOO EARLY, or pushed and called FAR TOO TIGHT. it was rather funny actually. im reasonably sure i could beat the 22s for 10% right now 8 tabling.

Gelford 11-19-2007 04:24 PM

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

Yeah ... my 11s seemed horrid as well, tho the 11s have always been horrid.

Still ... beating the 22s for 10% is not an impressive hourly, which might explain why no good player is playing those things

browsing some MSNL and read this in a thread. Kind of what I was saying other day about playing a ton of tables and what happens to me. Even playing three tables it is hard for me to stop and think through every situation.

"2) Take twice as much time to make any non-super-easy decision. Literally, atleast twice as many seconds. Multi-tabling 8 tables of poker for a year can lead to habits of what I've coined, "click-click-click" poker. I don't want to play sub-consciously any more. I want to think through every decision, even the ones that seem clear-cut. I don't just want to make the right plays, I want to also establish *why* they are the right plays. "
