I think the one thing about HU that took me far too long to learn was quitting when you don't have that much of an edge, so I'd get into a game with someone and after a few mins I could see that they weren't totally aweful, but I'd often keep on playing because of ego etc. Whereas now I just use the first line of everyone who I plays note to mark whether I should play them or not. |

Kaz, it appears we're in the same boat. I also was in a spot during September in which I only had $500 to my own name from all the sites combined.. I had sm0kelm be kind enough to loan me $500 until I could get back on my feet at $50 NL and now here I am, still playing $50 NL, with about 6k on all the sites combined (I help alot of people from my forum to transfers for a small fee), and I'm soon going to be getting the $2k bonus from stars for 200k vpps. I never would've imagined that I'd be up this much several months ago from just $50 NL.. [/ QUOTE ]lol yea i was playin 50nl 200bbs deep with 500 bucks on my account. as soon as i doubled i would drop the table and then add 2 more or vice versa. pretty stressfull for a few weeks but then it was good and i enjoyed the pressure actually. made sure i didnt play if i wasnt gonna play well and then went from their. glad i didnt run bad tha first few days. lol |
