Taking shots at 100NL today, wish me luck. So far it doesn't appear to be too much worse than 50NL, but I have to get myself used to the bet sizes for sure.

GL write them down on apiece of paper x2 or if you use a bet pot script then you'll have less problems - as for interpreting others' betsizes well that take a little time.

couple of tips:

Just divide every pot and bet by 2. Should help the bet sizing issues.

Play exactly how you were at nl50. If you feel like tightening up, only drop by 1-2% and make that mostly by cutting your cold calling range.

Do not assume the players are better!!!!!

Play shorter winning sessions at first.

I'll prolly be joining you this weekend. Promised myself that I would take NL slowly and have put in just over 11K hands at both 25NL and 50NL w/ good success.

things are just more aggressive @ 100nl, get used to getting 3bet/4bet wider, players are just as bad there, however you will experience greater variance because you will be forced to adjust and sometimes that means getting it in thinner than your used to

also i totally agree with shorter winning sessions, ween yourself into the new limit! gl

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

NL30: no one respects jack from me. I used to own these tables, bu it seems like everyone plays back only vs me. and only floats me. and only 3bets me. I'v tried to adjust, but its hard when your playing 9 tables w/o an HUD. Also iv been on tilt for about 3 days. Not spewing; just playing unhappy, and out of my comfort zone (way more passive/not caring).

So im playing NL50 instead, with lesser tables. So far the 100bb game has been much easier, and I feel when i play vs a villain w/ 200+ effective blinds, I have a huge advantage. So Ima play NL50 for next 24 hours. Hopefully I can get 5 or 6k hands in and reevaluate where I should focus my attention.

IMA post a graph of a really good player, and would like some technical analysis, since I am fairly noobish to PT.

Ya wb is my S/N on FT.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should move my play from FT to stars...25NL and 50NL FWIW

anyone who knows a lot about both want to offer me advice?

basically on:

rake
rakeback at FT vs FPPs at stars
promotions etc
game quality

I would appreciate any advice

rakeback is pretty sweet, but if stars FPPs aren't worth that much less (let's say, at platinum star..anyone have a link to a FPP->money post?)...I was thinking that might be made up for if the rake is less at stars than at ft or the games are better

thanks

post here, PM, or Prodigy54321 on AIM is fine

I'm back to uNL suckas! Mainly because tourney variance sucks , as does triple draw and 5cd. Also I have a bet with a friend who thinks I can't 24-table 5nl for fifteen minutes a week or so from now, without timing out.

Playing 867 hands 10NL at 30/27/4.

Despite having AA in the red for the day I earned 47 euros.

I like my W$WSF=49%.

No I need to work on river aggression. Made a few good value raises and got paid.
