I'd suggest for most people to just play 6 max until they have the roll for 200nl HU or higher. The rake is just so huge at 50 and 100nl HU that it's better to just avoid the games altogether.

I think if someone datamined the $100nl hu games on ftp then u would find the answer easily, I dought the $50nl hu games on stars are that easily beatable even though I see guys with hug stacks. I saw Green plastic and a friend of his play hu at the $50nl hu games on UB and the rake ate there stacks very quickly but they had like no edge against each other.

yeah i played some hu at 100NL vs some annoying shortstack. He came with 60 and after 10-20 min (dunno exactly) I stacked him and my stack was 146.. wtf?? I guess ill wait till 100NL.

FTP sucked exactly $10 in rake out of 39 hands at 50NL.

That's pretty brutal.

I haven't played too many hands hu... however after about 3k hands at 100nl on ftp I'm beating it for ~30ptbb/100.

I also have about 3k hands from 1/2hu on ftp and I'm beating that for ~20ptbb/100.

I might just be running well, but I have taken some sick beats as well. There are a [censored] of idiots.

Anyway, I think it's beatable.
