So the Florida Highway Patrol found 60lb of weed yesterday and say it has a street value of $54,000. I did the math that is $56/ounce. Someone please tell me where I can find good weed for $56/ounce.

You can't get it anywhere for $56 an ounce.

$54,000 = $56.25/ounce which is feasible

That extra 25 cents makes all the difference.

Middies are $200 here, great stuff $3-400. The reason the 'street value' is higher is because lets say you do sell this for $100 an ounce. This guy then sells it for $150 an ounce, but he sells in pounds. That guy then splits his pounds into QP's and sells it for $200 an ounce. That guy then splits his QP's and sells them for $250 an ounce. That guy splits his ounce into $50 eighths or $400 an ounce.

It isn't supply control, it's everyone getting their cut which then gets passed on to the consumer. Come on, this isn't rocket science.

it looked absolutely horrible and completely untrimmed., so there are two things that could be happening:

-they gave the price for the manicured product.
-they gave a wholesale price. For example, if i buy an ounce, i pay far less per eigth than if i buy an eighth. Maybe [censored] really drops down to that kind of price level with that kind of bulk.
-it was really really bad weed.

I used to live in Florida, the weed they found is probably that dirty nasty brick weed. People sell it at 60 dollars an ounce in orlando and they make a profit from that so there ya go.

The police usually over estimate the street value. I saw a story where they seized 30 million bucks of pot. [censored]. They weigh every root leaf and stick imaginable and price it like 400 an ounce just to make it look like a bigger bust than it was. Cops are dumb.

I'm pretty sure there are DOJ (or some gov't agency) guidelines that assign an artificially high value to each plant, based on the largest potential crop that one could harvest over the course of a year.

Also, I'm in CA myself, and that $40/oz [censored] is vile. You'd be better off smoking oregano.

in my part of Houston you have trouble even finding shwag. all they sell is dro and exotic dro. if you're lucky you can get an ounce of exotic for 285-300
