NL 100, Flop K high flush against pre-flop re raiser. How\'d I do?

A few hands ago, I took a bit pot off MP2, when he made a bad re-raise, when I check raised a C-Bet from the button. He's playing like he wants revenge.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($85.60)
Hero ($172.90)
UTG+1 ($21.10)
MP1 ($102.05)
MP2 ($70)
MP3 ($63.10)
CO ($98.50)
Button ($15.50)
SB ($99)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, UTG+1 calls $2.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises to $8</font>, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, Hero calls $5.50, UTG+1 calls $5.50.

Flop: ($25.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks.

Turn: ($25.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, UTG+1 folds, MP2 folds.

Final Pot: $25.50

I was gonna check raise the flop, if MP C-Bet. But I fugured I may as well protect my hand on the turn, didnt want to let A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] off or something hit. How'd I do?

Bet the flop is better than check-raise, because it possibly traps dead money and also looks less like a flopped flush than check-raising does. Plus if he has A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he's going to check behind on this flop frequently. It's a huge mistake to check a flopped flush thru the flop when your opponent is drawing live.

How much do you think is a good flop bet here?

yeah, i lead this flop, you are missing value by checking.

i prefer, b/3bet flop
c/r turn.

I think you played it fine.
MP+2 only had $70 going into the hand, and with another caller there is 25.50, so getting one bet out of him is fine and I do think he would bet out with a bare Ace.
I would actually check the turn as well.
If he had $100 pf, then I would be more inclined to bet out.
