NL25 - AK spew?

Both hands are against the same villain. He runs 25/12/1.35 in 105 hands .. although for some reason, it seemed like he was more aggro like 22/18/3. He was really making me angry, as I couldnt hit a damn flop against him. Are these hands ok?

Hand1: don't raise him on the flop unless you have a read that he donk bets with air.

I've been raising and cbetting flop like 90% of the time. So I kinda wanted the check to mean "I've got a big hand"

OK fair enough. Thats the sort of thing I'd do too but I think this might be a leak. There's no need to try to out-think players at this level. The reason I like c-betting here is because he might raise you light. This would allow you to push with tons of fold equity and the nut flush draw to boot.
