lubenica - I'd answer your questions if I could, but I don't know the answers. Sorry.

Read Beset's FAQs at the top of the post list for this forum.

And then try "NLO" (with the quotes) for searching for references to non-limit games.

And then spend some time reading the various posts to see who writes sensibly. And then try looking up other posts by these posters using the search function at the bottom of the lists of posts when you scroll down the screen.

This is a forum for discussion of tactics and strategy, and there are many very excellent posters here who obviously know their stuff. Alas, I'm not one of them. Fixed-limit-Omaha-8 is my game and the difference between fixed-limit-Omaha-8 and pot-limit-Omaha-high is like night and day.

There's a lot of worthwhile stuff on this forum, but I think you have to dig it out yourself.

Maybe you'll get a more helpful response from someone else here in addition to DarkCore, who has already responded. And maybe not.

Good luck to you.

Re: Essential readings

believe it or not but i learned alot from playing omaha hi/lo. the transition to plo was extremely easy because hi lo is wayyyyy more card dependent than plo.

hi/lo gives you a good foundation on learning to fold pre flop
