Question: If I went to vegas, would I have troubles playing in casinos being only 19? I look > 21 but I have a sorta young looking face if that matters.

i dunno, tell them i dont have id on me or something. they would just tell me to cashout and leave wouldn't they?

basically just wondering how viable it is to gamble underage in vegas i guess...

hotbacon,

I'm not sure Vegas is worth it for anyone under 21. There is no way you would be able to do any of the real fun stuff there even if you did manage to play some 2/5 in the Orleans poker room.

Ask Clayton, If I remember right he played quite a bit of live at last years WSOP. Think he was only 20 at the time

I played in Vegas a few times underage. In my experience if you play 5/10 or higher they won't give you [censored], if you're playing 1/3 or something they'll probably look you up.
The most important thing is walking around like you own the place, and being confident when you tell the floor to put you on the list. Look the floor in the eye when you tell them your name.

Went to watch a movie (hannibal) with a girl. Tried to leave when it was over at 1am. She convinces me to stay. We don't sleep. She calls work at 8am and calls in sick. Just got home now. Have some marks on my face/back from a variety of things, including her favorite (wtf) biting. Basically she was crazy. Also very, very hot eastern European and had a wonderful body. And wtf, I'm now going to see an Orchestra with her tonight?

isn't this it? well more or less... more i guess... all sorts of other stuff in here too

anyway, i just got a love letter... i don't think it can be called anything else, we're not yet going out, but we've decided that in all probability we soon / eventually will be, if that makes any sense... anyway, we wouldn't introduce each other as bf and gf at this point but she'd kill me if i went out w/ someone else......... and i'd probably kill the guy if she did... she's too cute to kill

anyway, i thought i was too old and jaded to feel like this, but i'm pretty much on cloud 9 from that letter... i've never gotten anything quite like it

Also, gee - why are you on house arrest?

[/ QUOTE ]

picked up a dui back in december of '06.

blah blahblah [censored] stupid, I know. its not something i ever do especially after I got my first one when I was 19 and have been really careful ever since. was kind of a freak thing that I got talked into driving home that night anyways cause I already had a ride home sorted out (was around xmas out w/ a ton of old friends). basically my friends gf ditched him at the bar after they got into a fight over some retarded [censored]. so the gf leaves and takes the girl I was workin all night back to my buddy's place (they lived together at the time) so combination of my buddy needing a ride home, guaranteed ass w/ random hotty and xmas celebrations I said [censored] it and offered to give him a lift. get pulled over, blow a .16 and game over.

got the prelim pushed back until may this year since I was living in england from jan-april. the managed to get my court date pushed back till august 18th so I didnt get [censored] out of my summer (my lawyer is the [censored] man). and been on house arrest since, gotta 90 days total.

18 left.

Felt kind the same way.

On another note it was a very hard day today. My grampy is taking it very hard and I am very close to him so it makes it very hard.

I'm hanging in there though.

I've been at the same company for 11 years. I quit today. Moving to the San Jose in three weeks, with the family moving in June after the school year is over.

Lots of changes going on.

Six months not seeing my family very much is going to be really tough.

Agree. Pretty underwhelming film.

Do not go watch Saw 4. I want my 2 hours and $20 (fk London prices) back. Oh and also for the film to make sense.

They sort of create a few characters we are led to believe were there during all the other films and then kill everyone off anyway. I think Jigsaw is definitely out of the picture completely now so 5 is going to be the lamest, crappiest film ever, most likely involving a copycat killer.

godfather is a good movie, i think that goodfellas is the best true gangster film i've seen though.

ofishstix 11-02-2007 01:41 AM

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD NOV***

goodfellas was better for our generation b/c of the timeframe covered in the film, but both are great.

im getting a new ringtone and cant decide
bush - little things - its the chorus (its the little things that killllll, etc etc)

or

foo fighters - everlong - it starts with if everything could ever feel this real forever, if anything good ever be this good again, etc.
