omg i just saw them on comedy central last night and they were hilarious. jenny + rhymenoceros were so awesome.

terrible, terrible show, I hope they cancel it.

Has nothing on John from cincy and Big Love (big love is alowly becoming my favorite show, over Dexter on showtime, weeds is a close second, and I've just recently started with episode 1 of sopranos and I can tell I'm going to love it)

Flight Of The Conchords HBO One Night Stand

I think this is what you meant to link to. This is the show that most of the YouTube's are taken from, so if you haven't seen them then check this out because it's hilarious.

I don't know about the US but in the UK you can get their BBC radio series on iTunes which is also great, although it relies on most of the same songs as are featured in the standup and HBO series. The radio series gave me a new appreciation of the band manager, as much of the dialogue between songs is from him and is just as good as the Jemaine/Bret stuff. The Conchords have much in common with The Mighty Boosh, and I expect they will be just as popular as the Boosh when the TV series reaches our shores.

I liked tonight's episode, especially the song. The friendship with the muggers and the fan's t-shirt of Jemaine in jail were also pretty funny.

To date I would go Episode 1 >>> 3 >>>>>> 2.

Edit: I believe this is the third thread on the show, and it's title has yet to be spelled correctly.

I thought this show was meh before last night, but last night was motherflippin hilarious. Rhymenocerous/Hiphopopotamous (my lyrics are bottomless LOL) was great and the manager kills me. The whole mugging stuff was great too. Really a great episode.

Last night's episode was hilarious. Went back and watched the other episodes I missed, they're a bit more choppy, but still funny.

There is something a little hit-or-miss when they break into a song (not from a music / lyrics standpoint, more rhythm of the show kind of thing) but last night was seamless and pretty awesome.

This is the best new comedy (originality, casting, dialogue, and overall execution) I've seen in a long time. Go HBO.

the dialogue is great. The manager is funny as hell. They do two songs a show, which I have found to be either hilarious or amusing. Even the fan is great.

Some friends of mine thought the second two were beyond awesome, but we on-demanded the first one last night, and they didn't like it at all. I still thought it was great though.

I can't see the show coming up with good enough material for too long. Their songs are already going downhill, but the regular dialogue is still hilarious.
