A lesson for all: your embarrassing CDs
Hard drive crashed a while back and I'm re-ripping everything onto my computer. This time, the dregs get digitized too, so I'll start.
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...ZL._AA240_.jpg The first lesson in learning not to buy into crappy solo careers is to avoid the progeny. First CD I ever bought. Not a good start. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...2L._AA240_.jpg When one grows up in New Jersey I think even fake Springsteen is mandatory. I even have CDs where "Cougar" is dropped for more authenticity. http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/image...._AA240_.L.jpg Nerdy male teenagers unite! http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/image...._AA240_.L.jpg An ironic purchase (funny in 1997) seems less like irony and more like bad taste 10 years later. Good thing I have no idea where to find my old cassettes. |

[/ QUOTE ] I saw some countdown of the worst songs in the 90's recently and this was one of the worst. I understand music tastes have changed and listening to it now, you might say how bad it sucked... but 2 Legit 2 Quit was the [censored] back when it came out. Just because songs don't hold the test of time doesn't make them horrible songs. |

In my defense, both of these were given to me as gifts, but I definitely was pleased to receive them at the time. |

DaveR,
I just moved into a house and organizing thousands of CD's was one of the big chores. Here are some of the ones I laughed at: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...01/skidrow.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/bo0001/semi.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/bo0001/mm.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/bo0001/kk.jpg But then I found this KEEPER! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/bo0001/snow.jpg |

Re: A lesson for all: your embarrassing CDs
I have a copy of "Rob and Fab" - the Milli Vanilli album where they sang -
http://content.answers.com/main/cont...-Robandfab.jpg it was right after the "Behind the Music" special, and it was in the bargain bin right in front of me at the used CD store - I feel like I have the Inverted Jenny of CD's, but made out of crap RB |

Also, I feel much better now knowing I am not the only person with Snow in their photobucket.
