Absolute Poker Question

OK, i recently joined Absolute Poker with 30% Rakeback.
Right now im playing 6tables of .5/1 NL.

I noticed there is 22 BBJ tables, and just 2 regular (non BBJ) tables.. what struck me as crazy and insane is that EVERY pot is raked .50 cents.. if someone limps in from SB and i check my option, 50 cents goes to bad beat jackpot, and 10 cents is raked. So if i get 30% rakeback, am i to assume if the pot gets checked down, i get back 3 cents?

Is this just not ridicolous? At Pokerstars every pot there is only raked 10 cents (say if small blind limps in) Now lets say hypothetically as a Goldstar, would you not make more Rakeback/hr *via fpps* (assuming you played the same amount of hands)?? I joined Absolute Poker cause i assumed i was going to get rakeback, but is this how it works? are my assumptions correct, and is this rake as ridicolous as it seems? I paid 67 dollars of rake in 1hr of AP, but i suspect at least 55 went to BBJ?

Re: Absolute Poker Question

You are correct, it is pointless to play $.50/$1 NL at Absolute. It is unbeatable. You don't get any rakeback on the BBJ share so in your check down scenario you would get $.016 cents back while $.60 was taken out of the pot.

You don't even get rakeback on the 10% AP takes out of the BBJ. IMO that is a direct violation of the affiliate agreement. One that they have violated over and over.

Re: Absolute Poker Question

What is the easiest way to tell which tables are BBJ?

Does the BBJ apply to Omaha of any kind?

Thanks in advance.

The BBJ tables are in red. Holdem is the only jackpot game.
