200NL - 2nd barrel with MPGK?

Villian is 35/16/3 over like 100ish hands. No real reads other than that :/

Is a 2nd barrel std here? For value from QJ/J10 type of hands and protection from both obvious draws out there?

i prefer checking and sometimes calling/sometimes folding. i suppose doubling could work here sometimes. (not as a bluff though, Ace never folds).

2nd barrel here is never for value... its a bluff... i would check the turn and give up

Huh? I think villian could have a whole range of hands here. I don't mind a 2nd barrel.

against a poor player (given stats) it can def be for value, id prob bet a bit less on the turn and confidently c/c blank rivers

It's not a good flop to fire twice at, I think the turn is usually a c/f, maybe a c/c depending on his bet sizing.

Orange,

Can you explain in a little more detail why you like c/c on the turn? Am I simply going off his 3 AF and assuming he will fire with draws and whatever other floats he gets here with?

I'd second barrel against a loose fish but not against this type of player. We're basically bluffing if we do.

River plans on
a) Draw completing cards (diamonds, straight draw completers etc etc)
b) Bricks?

I think betting turn and getting called leaves us in a tough spot either way. It doesn't mean of course that leading turn is bad, but you should probably have a plan.

I panned to c/f a draw completing card b/c I think his betting range on those rivers is heavily weighted towards either the made flush or straight. I think he would check behind a lot of other marginal made hands he can show up with.

For river blanks...not really sure. Check and figure something out. I guess thats the reason I posted this
