I just returned from Newark Airport and zero is (safely, for those of you sweating it out [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]) on the way back to Canada. These last few weeks have been incredible. I just wanted to personally thank everyone who posted in this thread. You guys are great!

Having just gotten back into it at low stakes (11s and 22s, yeah being married and having to negotiate how much to put in and how little to take out!), I agree. The 11s - 33s were ridiculously easy before and are now merely easy. 55s weren't too bad before, not sure about now. Basically before the law, you could roughly fold your way into the money, or at least by the time the bubble came you had a reasonable stack compared to the blinds playing super tight and not doubling up. Now the bubble comes when the blinds are much larger.

Still quite beatable but much tougher.

Yes, the crabs one was good. Both zero and I almost made a similar comment when we saw nuggetz's post, so it can't get originality points...but it definitely was good.

I never like being the 3rd player in a raised pot wih AK. I prefer a call preflop in this situation.

AKs is the 3rd best hand to push with in NL. Neither player had indicated (by ANY means) that they held AA or KK.

EDIT: "to push with" assumes average, and not deep, stack sizes.

There was a very similar hand (stacks, AK, 25/50) in STT where people were saying fold. I think that prompted me to IM durron telling him he moderated a forum full of idiots. I think he thought I was talking about this forum. Which you all are, obv.
