3$ R/A Final table bubble; Is this ever a fold?

Ok, I would like your opinions about this situation. 3$ rebuy, 11 left, with my stack current position 7th or 8th. What do I do after cutoff raise? Is this standard 100% push with AK since I'm ahead of any other Ax and Kx or can this ever be laid down because villain is probably committed and we flip a coin with AK vs any pocket pair...?

Easy shove...you may never have a better hand the rest of this tourney and you're a big favorite here. Like you said, he could be going with Ax or even Kx. If it's a pair, well it's a flip and there's nice overlay on the pot. If it's AA or KK you can complain to your friends afterwards about how close you were to a final table in a huge tourney but ran into a monster. Either way, if you don't get your money in here you pass up a huge +EV spot.

if you want to get out of 7th or 8th place, this is a shove.

Tournament payouts are top-heavy, and in order to get to the top you're going to have to gamble a bit. MP only has 10BB, and so does not have the luxury of waiting around for AA or KK to get his chips in. So, you are crushing his range. The fact that he didn't just open push is a little scary, but at this level it may just mean that he's really bad and doesn't understand stack math.

Ship it in and fist pump.
