It\'s Wong City!!

Denver +1.5/+7.5
Cincy +2/+8
Jack -8/-2
NYG -7.5/-1.5
Carolina +2/+8
San Diego -8/-2

Arizona will also beat SF by 21 points.

Note: None of these wongs have been "blessed", so follow at your own risk.

Especially since it looks like the Cincy line is going up.

Well, 3 of the 5 lines moved out of range in favor of the OP at many books. 1 moved worse (carolina), one stayed the same (NYG).

So I say he made a good decision in rushing. I'm shut out since Pinny says they're not profitable as 6.5 pt teasers.

Are the lines always going to move in his favor or are we just doing a bit of results oriented thinking?

This is definitely results-oriented thinking.

plus the gain from getting the 8.5->9.0 points isn't nearly as much as the theoretical loss from wonging a +3.0 team.

That's also going to happen a lot less frequently because it requires more steam to move onto or off of the bigger numbers than to move onto smaller numbers. 8.5 moving to 9.0 is disastrous for a teaser. Moving to 8.0 isn't that big of a deal (since the two is worth little). Same goes with 1.5.

I'm not trying to open the "trying to predict line movements in Wongs" argument again (it seems that people need to get into a pissing contest over anything, and since Wonging as a system lacks enough controversy, people will exaggerate fights over it). My point is if you're going to harass a guy for doing something a little early, don't do it when there's value in doing it early, on point values where line volatility in the last 12 hours can hurt more than help.
