sites that don\'t allow USA players, can foreigners play from usa?

If someone who is a resident of a country in europe or south america and have a poker acccount at sites that don't allow usa players, can those players play if they are visiting or temp living in the usa? Are isp addrresses or whatever tracked to prevent it? any info on this appreciated. Thanks!

Usually, I can give anecdotal answers to most questions asked on this board ....

However, this is actually a question I don't remember being asked before. And a pretty good one at that.

Hopefully, someone will be able to fill you in. But I would be willing to bet you will be better off simply contacting the poker sites themselves. Please let us know your findings.

I believe this is very possible. Sites such as Eurobet don't monitor where your connection comes from. They ban you from the registration knowing which addresses are US ones.

I would imagine that they are blocking IP addresses from the USA. That's easier than trying to figure out where your account is from as you log in.

If you're a European resident you can play everywhere in the world.
Unless the place where you're using internet is blocking gambling sites.
European poker rooms do not block US IP's. They check your details and do not allow you to register. You don't have the option to choose US for example.
If you put in a fake address you'll have trouble making a deposit. But if you still manage to make a deposit. With neteller for example. You'll be in trouble when you withdraw.

If you have a real address in Europe you'll be fine playing in US.

For example: I was in Vegas for two weeks and played poker almost every day on my laptop.
