I think raising fourth is best. If the guy behind you has a three-card low, he may peel for one bet but not two. If he folds, you increase your chance of scooping significantly.

[/ QUOTE ]I believe an unimproved big pair is a small equity dog to a small pair and 4 card low on 5th (although here you have other complications like the 3rd guy in the hand).

I assume you are calling down all the way if xx22 reraises on 4th? folding 7th unimproved of course
