Guilty Pleasures...

I'm a sucker for female vocalists - as long as its not country.

Growing up I was a huge Garbage fan. I loved Shirley Manson's vocals. 50% of the time I listened to music in grade school it was Garbage or No Doubt.

Now I get caught listening to the local pop stations on the radio - Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Evanescence, etc.

So the question is - am I gay?

i do think all of the ones i listed are hot. except for amy lee, but her voice is awesome so it makes up for it.

and shirley's accent > all.

brag: couple years ago at a home game we were talking about our list of celebrity exceptions. i named gwen in top 5. mrs dmk then said "oh, gwen stefani is def #1 for me". so ya, if someone knows how i can get ahold of gwen to hook that 3-way up, let me know

I got into a very interesting argument once because I said Avril Lavigne's music is awesome because she's hot.

i was listening to Portishead last night. Beth Gibbons has a great voice.

True story:

My dad was a lumber salesman, near one of the more expensive lakes in Ontario, if not Canada. I mean, big time expensive, Kurt Russel has a cottage there, and it's not one of the bigger ones.

Anyway, Shirley Manson decides to build a 5000 square foot "cottage" on the lake, and my dad sold her the lumber. He said she's really, really, really strange.

Since you've been gone...I can breathe for the first time...

man, most of those ladies are smoking hot and have at least one awesome song that I can actually say I really enjoy. Nothing wrong with that yo!

Skater Boi is a great pop song.

My latest Canadian crush is Leslie Feist. I find it kind of scary that I like a lot of the music my fifteen year old daughter plays.

My concern here is actually for dmk's wife.

I mean, if she got to nail the celebrity of her choice, it'd be gwen stefani.

Maybe she's gay, and thinks dmk is a girl?

Avril Lavigne is one of my favorite artists around right now. I've been a fan of hers since complicated hit MTV like 5 years ago. Owned every album the day it came out after that one.

I also like every artist listed.
