going broke in an uraised pot --- 10 20 bellagio live

i was in vegas three months ago and have been thinking about this hand alot.. basically this post condenses down to when do you stack/ get stacked in an unriased pot? i have been playing 10 20 for 30 hours striaght and have 20k in front of me. i have a slag image. villian is a solid reg that i have been playing with for about five hours. has not got out of line at all. i have 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the bb of an uraised pot.

flop comes 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
i bet out 60 from the bb... udg(villian) raises to 180 mp calls. button calls.

i raise to 600. utg makes it 2k. mp fold. button tanks.... fold.... i verbally quiz utg... he tells me he has 7 5. i muck. i get him to admit later he had bottom set. so.... how many think is +ev here to stick it in 200 bb deep on an uraised flop with second nuts on a 346 board?

villain has 4k

At first I thought Villain had 20k. Then you said 4k

I folded the 2nd nuts once in my life for less than 200bbs. I was wrong so I won't be doing it ever again [unless the board is 34567 one-tone and I have xx or AAAAQ and I have xx < K].

While this may sound stupid, I think the "context" clue in this hand were the MP and button calling. One of those calls HAS to be a 5 most likely, so that lowers his chances of him having a combination of 7 and 5 at least. Still though, for 200 BB, it is VERY close I think.

How many handed was the game and has it been playing extremely passive?
If the guy is playing pretty solid and has limped UTG then I would think his holdings were more heavily weighted towards low pocket pairs ahead of 57. Therefore a set seems more likely than a straight.
Obviously he may be mixing up his play but regularly limping UTG with 57o is a terrible leak and even 57s seems a bit spewy to me.

Jeez just ship it in against the UTG TAG.

The other two callers matter tho -- do either of them have more than 4k? Are they horrible players? Will they slow play 57?

for 20k it's a lot closer. for 4k just get it in.

Definitely depends a lot on reads and opponent. A definite option here is to call the $180 (ok, sounds weak, but whatever) and call him down if no pair hits. Flushes are obviously irrelevant. With the call you do sacrifice info, but to some extent you don't need it, since 75 wins board paired or not.

I think the real mistake is playing 30 hours straight. It's extremely difficult (for me anyway) when I'm tired to play hands like this, and eliciting and getting reads is critical. Also I'm pretty sure I become easier to read in situations like this (i.e., not having 75).

As played I guess I fold, I mean you've shown enormous strength in principle with your 3-bet.

does a solid reg really limp 75 UTG? It's possible but a set is far more likely imo.
