100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

Villain seems solid tag, hero has shown down only good hands and won two allins so far, one with AK and one with top pair on flush draw board.

Re: 100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

If his range were KK+/AK only (and weighted evenly), this would be almost exactly neutral cEV. It's hard to imagine his range changing too much from this, so it's definitely close.

Re: 100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

call. he might think you are squeezing. I mean he is calling a UTG raise (which is only a 2.5x raise) and then shoves. This is a lot of PP and worse hands,

It sucks but I fold it, lately when ever I am seeing an ep flat it's the nuts with a rr/ai.

You think he's not doing this with QQ? JJ is a bit closer, but JJ call and then squeezed gets shoved in these threads always. I think you have to call here.

Agreed. An optimistic range here is TT+/AK, though i wonder if he'll flat again with AA to the reraise. I'm not sure.

i say JJ here or 1010 can't really be thinking any other hand.
results?

this seems like a instamuck, he can def be flatting here with AA, KK, AK, and its super doubtful he is 4betting with AQ here

Re: 100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

I can't see anything other than AA,KK or maybe QQ here. You're too deep and not get good pot odds against that range. Fold.

Re: 100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

No , Aconsuma is a friend of mine, i thought i would post it for him since he doesn't have a name on here.

At the time, Acons image was very solid and we surmised that the villain had to be huge here. JJ+ AK. We took the conservative route and folded, leaving us with 55k chips at 600/1200.

I think you definitely see QQ and AK a ton here.

Re: 100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

If you're not calling the 4bet don't [censored] 3bet pf. If you'd even consider folding then make it more preflop so you can't.

Your equity against TT+ and AK is 40%. No chance I fold here when there's some random chance his range is a lot bigger.

Though I am sure one could come up with an odd exception I agree with this statement the VAST majority of the time.

If I am 3 balling AK here then I am definitely calling the shove.

What was the hero hoping to accomplish with his pf raise? What hands did he think would call him? Which hands would fold? Which would shove? I think no matter what the answers are to these questions the result should either be to flat call pf or to 3 bet and call the shove.

Re: 100r, deep stacks, tricky spot

I doubt with these stacks and positions that FishList has KK+ here very often if ever. This looks so much like TT-QQ. He decides to flat the original utg raise then decides to jam on your (or your friend's) potential squeeze from the bb. He may also play AK this way. And obviously as gobbo already mentioned, don't 3bet pre if you're not willing to stack off to either player.
