400NL: Turning a hand with SD value into a bluff, part 2.

Villain is 18/10/5 over 100 hands (I think the 5 is way off though...small sample), cbet 5 times out of 6. Overall doesn't seem like a good player.

I don't think this hand has much showdown value in this spot. If you get to the river I think you will loose more often than not. But thats just my opinion.

You are right, the SD value of both of the hands I posted is questionable.

That is why turning them into bluffs MAY be appropriate.

I think I donk the flop

I'm not really feeling a bet/3bet AI on this flop guys...

Can we focus on the turn?

I want to find out where I stand on the flop, I raise. As played, I don't mind the turn raise. He pushes, we fold. He calls, maybe we get to check down the river.

This is a place you could bluff for sure. But there are so many spots that are suitable for bluffing and this seems like a villain you can bluff. I think the recent history between villain and you and your image in general are more important.
You say he doesn't seem like a good player. Most of the time this means he will go too far and is harder to bluff. Or do you think he'll give up to easilly?

He's more of a tagfish than a fish. Meaning he knows how to play correctly in theory but is bad at hand reading and the finer points of the game.

I don't bluff people who go too far with hands (but I will bluff relative unknowns like this guy just based on my first impression of him).

Seems ok in that case, given this is not your standard play here.
