Line check with AAxx

Here is a spot I often find myself in when I smooth call AAxx pf. Usually I just check/fold but this board was so dry I decided to take a shot. Should I just fold the flop here given that my plan is to give up if he calls? Should I lead the flop instead? If I'm going to check-raise, what is the ideal size of the raise?

Once my gin card falls on turn, is lead or crai better and if I lead what amount is good?

Opp is 63/17/2 btw

If the preflop raiser is tight, he can easily show up with KK or KQJ type hands on the flop so check calling is fine out of position. There are a bunch of cards you don't want to see on the turn.
Once the turn hits, then a check raise is fine. Your hand is well disguised and your opponent should represent AA again if you have showed no aggression. He has to bet in case you have picked up a flush draw on the turn.

WP - i would c/c the flop as i dont have much and im OOP, so i dont want it bloating with a marginal hand and 2 cards to come. CR on the turn is standard as you get most of your money in with 1 card to come, making the river play itself

You should usually fold flop. You have marginal hand out of position. Overpair is not a hand to play big pots when money is deep.

I do not like your move unless pre-flop raiser is very aggressive but folds easily when meets resistance.

You should never fold flop barring a tell.

Ok thanks for the responses, I guess I am check-folding AAxx too much when I'm not the PF aggressor.
