At the risk of being laughed at, I'm going to ask this question: do online poker rooms favor newer players?

I recently started playing at UB again after a long break. In ~100 hands I've gotten KK twice as well as QQ. I've hit sets 3 out of 4 times I've held PP (edit: 4 out 5 times), and one PP made quads. Also flopped nut straight with the flush draw and sucked out on another hand when I was ~30% favorite.

This type of stuff always happens to me whenever I pick up online poker after not playing for a bit. Am I just paranoid? Anyone else experience this?

this also happens to me EVERY time i deposit. i run super hot and make loads for a few days then all of a sudden boooooooooom can't even make a pair.

Well if these sites were rigged they'd make me skyrocket from micro-stakes to tables where I have to pay full rake, and keep me there. Which isn't the case....so I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you on this one.

The only thing they do is not rake the play money games. That's kind of like having a casino pay 38-to-1 on play money roulette and then 35-to-1 on real money roulette. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I'm sitting here continuing to get sets of KK like every other hand. Running so hot its ridic.

But good news that I'm just paranoid, if you guys are sure.

Happens sometimes. I've gotten KK multiple times and made multiple sets in 100 hands bunches of times.
