Moving to NL - what should I know?

I mostly play mid limit PLO. I've played about 20,000 hands of NLH and PLH in my life, mostly live, at pretty much all stakes. I was a moderate winner playing live. Now I want to start playing online.

I don't think I'm beating the NL$400 on iPoker. Small sample, but I think I'm doing some things wrong. It seems there are several bad players but I am not taking enough advantage of them, or maybe playing too many hands with the stronger regs.

(edit) I play a mix of 9 and 6 handed PLO. When I've played live NL it's mostly 8-10 handed. I expect to be playing mostly 6 max online.

What adjustments should I be making?

bet and raise a lot, sometimes you don't need the nuts, if you have an ace and a king before the flop, don't fold

I'm not sure of your level of play, so please don't take any of this as condescension. I agree about starting lower. If you haven't already, check out AJmargarine's "How's your SSNL" series in the SSNL master sticky. They were pretty valuable to me when I switched from Limit to NL. They set out a lot of basic ideas that underpin ABC play, and give you the groundwork for more tricksy play.

In my experience, bad players on ipoker tend to be so bad that you could maintain a good winrate just targetting them. The more taggy players tend to be a little less aggressive than they should at 6 max (a lot of 25/10 types). The latter usually have very exploitable tendencies, but it's no good trying to exploit them unless you have a strong grasp of the fundamentals of NL play.
