nl10 200BB deep /w 33 in a 3-bet pot, what do I do?

Villain is 21/15/2 after 19 hands, seemed to have played somewhat tight, has not shown down a hand but has been sitting in and out sporadically the session.

When 3-bet preflop, normally I'd muck but decided I was pretty deep and my implied odds were a little over 20BB on my call. I bet small hoping he'd have aces or Kings and raise me, but if he just had AK, hopefully he'd peel a little.

Seems standard, if you do it with a combodraw as well, otherwise you are easily readable.

Would villain fold to a c/r? Instead of donking I might c/r instead.

I like leading here but I'd make it $2-$2.50 instead.

Basically leading with the monster is good when your opponent is likely to have a strong hand himself and will raise you. If villian had a PFR of 25 I don't like the play too much because he would too easily have AJ or something. If his PFR was 5 then I'd love it.

A lot of players can fold a big pair when you checkraise the flop with a lot of money left to bet.

These are the NL stakes I'm comfortable with .

I agree, it's more likely to incur a push from an overpair or whatnot, speeds up getting $$ into the pot -- your line looks like a draw.

Actually, though, at these limits, doing something goofy like a min-checkraise might get the money in the pot faster . . . hell, someone with AK might be willing to throw it all in on a bluff thinking they've got overcards, a straight draw, and maybe a backdoor flush draw.

I think I bet the pot. It's a pretty sloppy board if he's a good player pot bet makes him think I'm trying to push him out, if he calls I check a turn dud to river trap. If he's a bad player he probably re-raises, or maybe even calls with an ace. Then again I have respect issues with my opponents.
